ATV ramps
Hello, all
I have been looking for a good quality ATV ramp. Does anyone have any experience with the Highland tri-fold sport ramp? It is sold through several venders. I am looking at the large 54" X 77" ramp that is sold thru Northern Tool. It looks like a very sturdy ramp. My neighbor has a 45"x69" Better Built. It is already bent in the center from his 600lbs ATV. I need the longer ramp I have an '03 Dodge 3500 DRW pickup. Any advise would be appreciate.
Thanks.

I baught a set of ramps at advance auto parts for 100 buck.. they have not broke yet. i have used them to get a rhino unstuck in the mud. used them under a high lift jack in the mud also.
they get bikes in and out of the back of my 4x4 ford superduty just fine. 100 bucks is all i wanted to spend on ramps .they get the job done. and i think i will have them the rest of my life.
they are light enough and 2 pieces so they are easy to drag out in the woods if you need them for traction to get a bike out of the mud with.

I use an Oxlite #86L (46X77 click on image to see correct size) to load into my 1/2T Ram Quad 4x4. Comes with cables that hook to your rear bumper. Safe in winter as the crossbars are serrated. Easy and quick too. Fits between the ATV tires. It was $135 with shipping. Looks like they went up $20 or so since I bought, but I'd buy it again even at that price. Light but sturdy. I've even loaded a snowmobile with it. I've seen them listed for $229.
I've been surprised in the past with the shipping cost from Northern Tool. I usually only buy stuff when shipping is free from that place.

Hello, all
Thanks for the replies. lucky for me I have a Northern tool 2 miles down the highway from me. I didn't have a chance to stop by Northern tool on the way home today. West350bruin thank you for your reply. However, you better check your measurements! My '03 Dodge 3500 DRW 4x4 is 62" wide at the tailgate plenty of room for a 54" wide ramp. The width of the bed is not my problem, the bed height is. I used my neighbor's 48"x69" Better Built ramp to unload my new Rancher and almost filped it over backwards. That is why I'm interested in the Highland tri fold ramp for the length.

Just get a set welded up for you!!!!!! If you know a welder or do it yourself......Just use some 1" angle iron about six feet long each and six inches wide spaced about 5 inches apart.......A bit heavey though but cheap if you can do it yourself or know someone to do it......Caper.......
