Hi everyone,, Im new to these forums, but have been coming and reading for a little while getting a little info on the new atv Ive been wanting. I got my first atv when I was 12 it was an 86 Honda 200sx, and have been riding every since, and have owned many different four and three wheelers and almost exclusively Hondas. I have owned an 01 Rancher 2x4 ES for the last 6 years and just sold it last Thursday to fund my latest purchase.

Yesterday, I got it, I got an 07 Rancher 420 4x4 es in the Natural Gear camo, and I love it! I got it for $5099 out the door, I feel like I got a good deal on it, the price was at least $250 cheaper than anywhere else I checked. After riding it a while today, I can say that the 420 has noticeably more power than the 350 and I love the camo, Ive been waiting for year for Honda to come out with camo on their machines. I hope to learn lots here about riding and working on my bikes. I hope to do a few mods to my 420 soon, and hopefully I can get some good ideas here on what to do, as far as power etc.. I know I want to upgrade tires, and possibly exhaust and air filter, I know I cant rejet the fuel injection, but is there any upgrades to do to the fuel system? Hope to get to know lots of you soon.

 

Welcome! I am considering an 07 Rancher as well, so I am interested in the evaluation of those who have one. Go ride the tires off it, and let us know how you like it........

I got my 420 1 month ago. I have 180 miles on it now, and i am very pleased. This is a very fast mid-size quad. It will lift the front tires off the groundin first and second. top speed is 56 mph. This quad is very fun to drive. Honda made much improvements to the rancher. I have not found any after-market parts for it yet due to it being too new. Keep me posted on any up-grades or problems you may have.
