New owner of a 2002 honda foreman S 450 trx..would like some input on the best winch for the money i can get and where? i guess front mounts are ok but i usually need to pull myself out from behind..any ideas?Thanx

 

i think im getting the viper 3000 for my 05 rancher! comes with fairlead rollers, rope, its sealed, about 150$ shipped to your door step, comes with hand mount, and switch(so you dont have to stay on it when using the winch) and all the hard wear to hook it up.( mounting plated and connectors!)

 

Thanx-where does that one come from? i was thinking of the gorilla 2000 lb on ebay shipped for $119 to my door...is the front of atv the only way to mount a winch? or do you need 2 ?

Wife bought the 3000 lb venom winch with mounting kit for me and my rancher for Christmas (venomwinch.com). She ordered the 2500 but they sent the 3000. The whole kit was about $150 shipped. So far, so good. I have pulled a 660 Rhino out with it.
