A few thoughts about Honda's reliability. My dad, 2 brothers, and my brother in law all have honda 300 4x4's. 2 of them have been completely trouble free and the other 2 have had nit picking problems since new. Not to say Honda isn't good,my point is that people would have you believe if you have a honda you will never have any trouble. Something else to consider is Dirt Wheels magazine did a test on the con and loved it,butwhatcaught my attention is that they said the transmission is the most complex thing ever put in a 4 wheeler and it is totally non servicable. If it messes up it has to be totally replaced. so you might want to check on the price of a new tranny. I am not downing honda, just with heavy work you describe you need to consider transmisson trouble with any brand you buy.
