back for more, got the shifter welded on and its solid, kids were riding and it started to idle very high, then just cut out, i got it started and it bogged when i gave it gas, so i took carb off, cleaned it and put back together, ? is ; is there a spring associated with the needle ? that i may have lost

i can spray carb cleaner into butterfly and push start it, and it dies as soon as its burnt off, gas gets to the bowl, but does not seem to come up thru the carb to do its thing, can this be the pitcock valve?
i took off tank and gas runs thru it, mabey not as much as it should, but the bowl is full when i try to start it, i still dont have the correct pull start assembly , got one off ebay but it is for a diff fly wheel pully thingy (basket) what ever the pull start gear is supposed to grab onto, anyway thats a different problem, more interested in the carb right now, any help is always appreciated, thanks and keep it real

First open the drain on the carb to see if fuel flows out. If you have a good steady stream, that should be good enough. Is this a 200es, I believe the motor is the same as my 84 trx200. Bikebandit.com has the oem parts catalog with pics which my help with your carb question.

honda made 3 200 3 wheelers in 1984

200s simple chain drive with no suspention

200m 5 speed chain drive with lights

200ES big red, dual range shaft drive with lights and 2" travel on front end

All 3 use the same basic engine design as the XR200R of the late 80's and 90's
