need help on my fourtrax350
some jerk tried to steal it they jerked the switch out and tried to hot wire it in the process to wires broke loose from the soider joints in the back of the switch one is the green wire and the other is the black with the white stripe my switch has 6 wires total
what I need to know is where these to wires go so that I can resoider them back Ebay doesnt have a switch that Icould find and they want alot at the dealer for a new assembly and really dont want buy a new, for something i could soider my self[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] I have a pic on my profile to make it easy for you to see what i mean

i cant help you in this matter , but some crackhead tryed to steal one of my atvs thur. morn. they also ripped n cut out my wires , havta buy a new ignition 84.00 dollars , wished i would have caught him ...

 

if you look at my pic in my profile there is a pick of the back of my switch that may help you some I only had two get pulled I know the green went to the aux lights and the b/w went to the cdi unit

money tight and the actual key part wasnt damaged they poped the key assembly out of the housing and striped the wires trying to use jumperwires w gator clips to get it started and they broke to wires off at the sodier points so a little sodier and liquid tape and cheep fix but want to make sure wires are right

 

anyone have any ideas???????

 

is there anyone with a switch for a fourtraxss that can tell me where these wires go the scematics arent properon paper its square well my switch is round and got to get this thing fixed this week

 

I just went and got mine out of storage this evening. I will pull it apart tommorrow and let you know!

 

The green wire goes to the middle terminal under the red/black wire and the black/white wire goes to the outside terminal between the red/black and the red wires. I hope this helps and get's you running again!
