#1
if i adjust the air fuel mixture underneath the carb on my 400ex will that help cure the slight hesitation problem i have when i give it gas from an idle... it doestn hesitate everytime it only does it when the engine is hot from riding but if the engine is just warm it doesnt hesitate.... i have my jetting correct cause the spark plug is brown i just figured that a slight turn on the air fuel mixture screw might help get the response better.... by the way i have pro meg full system pipe, 8 one inch holes in the abox lid that are plugged, k&n filter, and jet kit any help would be appreciated thanx and by the way if i cant cure it is it that big of a deal or is it serious... i dont know a lot about this stuff but i know enough if i get help thanx

Most likely, start your quad and get it to that temp when you have problems. Adjust the screw only a 1/4 turn and check the response, continue until you see a improvement. Ride and check again, let it cool down and check again under cool or warm temp. This will let you know if this is the fix. Also, check your filter and make sure it's clean and oiled.

ok i was thinking about what u said about the dirty filter.... i got a questoin for any of u reading this..... if it was a dirty filter that cause my quad to hesitate would it hesitate all the time off idle or just when the engine is at certain temperature.... my quad only hesitates right when i come back from a ride if i let it sit and idle for a few minutes or cut it off (basically let it cool a bit) it wont hesitate at all so what would it be a dirty filter or jetting problem? if u know please let me know and if its a jetting prob what do i need to do? thanx
