i have alot of interest in making a project out of this 250r i can get for a sweet deal, '89 all original, original motor/bore, and the thing runs great. 1300. My question is how are they in the woods and for jumping?

yeah i need something that i can air out a little more, dont get me wrong the warrior has done everything ive told it to do and has NEVER let me down and its a great all around quad, but it jumps like a pig. i want something i can really rip around, leaving the warrior to the mud and punishment...

i would probably do the bearings and the bushings just because, im not going to do a full frame off restoration and spend a ton of money, in all honesty the bike is in great mechanical condition. maybe do the suspension, but thats when it starts to get expensive. slomoe, did you do a complete restoration and if you did how deep into it are you? thanks for the opinions.

i bought a new top end and put a new crank and bearings in. that is just what iam doing now.
you have to remember that it is a 20 year old quad. thing just wear out.
I like this quad very much I just seem to always be spending money on this quad.
