2000 Honda 250..battery

Hi folks...I just bought a 2000 Honda 250 and I need to replace the battery. I have gone to a couple of places and they didn't seem to know or have the right battery. What should I be getting?

call your local advance auto store they can look it up or cross the numbers off the old battery the range in price from 50 to 80 dollars

Yeah i have written down the numbers off the battery and nobody seemed to know. Then they looked up the bike itselk and came up with a battery but when I looked at it the batter was too short.

wha t are the numbers and I will get you the right size so that you can pick it up at advance most of them dont look it up properly I have had this problem many times
