I just figured out a new way to build your own snorkel. Go to a heavy truck parts store and get a radiator hose that fits the intake box. they make every diffrent size and they can cut it to length. the best thing is it will bend around any angle and flatten out just enough to squeeze into tight spots. just don't squeeze to much or you won't get good air flow. it can be routed around to the fender then you can add a pvc pipe for the stack. it's great, as soon as i finish mine i will post some pictures so every one can see.
