1988 250r engine rebuild - which PV cylinder?
#1
I am rebuilding my 1988 250r. I ride mostly sandy trails here in Florida but do get to some wot areas on occasion. The bike is being set up in a CC/Harescramble setup. I am trying to decide what cylinder to go with. I am looking in the 330-350 cc area with the powervalve. I have heard great things about CTs cylinders, hear mixed emotions on ERS's, and have heard nothing but praise about PSI's cylinders. Any guidance would be appreciated.

the cylinder they use is a pro-x. Essentially the same castings between ESR and CT, only difference is portwork where ESR has a slight edge.
I wouldnt go to PSI because they're idiots, and are in financial trouble.
Ive owned them all! lol
