No matter what kind of slip-on for are looking at, they will all give you right around the same gains if any gaines at all.

Any good slip on such as Big Gun in combination with removing restrictions in air box and rejetting will give very good gains. I run mine stock because I don't want any increase in noise because of where we ride.

Buy a full system!!! i sugest the powerbomb header with a Q pipe or something around that.. put i like the powerbomb header! that a k&N and jet kit will help you out alot!! give more tourqe and snap 2 tha bike.. as far as top end.. really the only thing that gives you that is gearing.. after the pipe and things go up 1 size on ur front sprocket to a 14tooth I love mine and i run alot of woods.. 14 on the front 38 rear... Hope this helps ya out

I have the same problem with my '07, just got it last week, and it is so hard to get started, but once i get it started it works awesome, I have replaced the plug twice in my 2 weeks of having it. I am wanting to put a pipe and jet it soon also

buy yourself a full system, it will cost more but waaay worth it.....I race my buddy that just has a slip on HMF pipe on a 400ex, and i got full system and i blow him away in all gears, i'm like 5 quad lengths ahead of him at the end of a 300foot drag

I know my bike is faster then his 400ex stock for stock, but even when he had a slipon and i was stock i could still beat him LOL...

you cant go wrong with a lot of pipes. procircuit,HMF,FMF,whitebros, biggun,LRD,pulse charger, yoshimira, curtis sparks,ctracing....I could go on forever....ALL good pipes around same gains

btw....are you using Choke when you are trying to start?? lol

if the bike is warm will it start easy??? like if you stall it on the trails will it start of just tap of the button?

I would recommend, yoshimura, or hmf full systems with a powerbomb header, k and N air filter, maybe remove airbox lid, and a jet kit. Thats what I did to my 350 and I loved it. Youll be able to feel the power, TRUST me
