performance upgrades for a 450R
I am going to Silver Lake Sand dunes in a couple of months and I was wondering what I can do to my 450R to ensure that I can take stock 660s and Banshees no problem(still lil worried about those 2 in a race).
I want to spend less then 500 if possible beacuse I still have to buy paddels and dont have a lot of extra money to dump in my quad right now.

What year is your 450R?
I have an '04 and I went with a stage II Hotcam, UNI Filter, Cut open air box lid, Slip on pipe, and rejet the carb. I have a 185 main, 50 pilot and dropped the clip on the needle to the bottom.
This can all be done for around $500.00 if you can do the work yourself.
You should beat stock Raptor 660's and stock Banshees with this setup.
