hey ppl i was talking to my friend and he has a 97 3ooEx and i have my 01' 3ooEx and he made a steel skidplate for his and now hes got a lonestar axle and swingarm so he is selling me that and giveng me his stock pipe that has been gutted and his homemade bumper...i think for 20bucks tat i am getting a good deal..what ya say what should i get for my quad that is cheep but puts the ponies up high

 

You can try a hotter spark plug,or a splitfire spark plug,but I've heard mixed reviews about them.You can try some octabe boost,or remove your airbox cover and rejet.Running more air in your tires will give you less drag and increase your flat out top end speed.Thinner motor oil will cause less drag in your engine,but with any of these modifications, besides the airbox cover and rejet,the actual gains in peformance are minimal.

 

sprockets are your best beat. their cheap and can get you either more topend speed or more acceleration
