NONE. ZERO. ZIP. ZILCH.
You get a TON more throttle response and acceleration running it open. It's loud as hell, but the power difference is well worth the noise. I feel the only thing those disks are good for is collecting dust in my garage. It's actually only 5 or 6 decibels louder open.

If you want low end power use the discs it came with. If you want mid go to about 15 disc. If you want top end just take the discs off but check if your bike needs a certin amount of back pressure.Dont know much about 300s but I know some bikes need back pressure. If you add more disc then the pipe comes with, you must get longer screws.

OK ZERO, They made those baffels for looks. They have no purpose whats so ever. Only if you dont know what you talking about. In the type of racing I do you need alot of low end power. If I took all the baffels off, first I could not race because there would be no spark arrestor, and second I would have great top end but no low end. We all have our opinions but facts are facts.
