My friend has a 96 or so 300ex and it has a FMF megamax Pipe deal on there and i was wondering whats the best number of disk to run with it ? Also i think it needs jetted because it kinda cuts out at like 1/4 throttle when going doing the road. I like that pipe alot and was thinking about getting one for my recon but before i do that is it really worth it for a littel recon ? i dont know really .... So just would like to know what you all think about the jet thing.. thanks

It dosen't really matter how many disks you run. They are made kinda cheap compared to others.Mine broke in 6 months but fmf will replace it.

No cover at all. Go 1 jet size bigger and mess with the air screw until the plug is tan. after you run it wide open. It dosen't really matter how many disks you run it hardly effects the jetting.
