I don't know how to change, but are you having problems with your electric shift?

I have noticed that sometimes around the pasture that I have to push the up/down button a couple of times before it will shift, it may be that I need to push harder on the button, I don't know

I think there is some kind of rev limit for some of the shifting. Not sure if thats true.

My 2006 Rancher ES will shift at WOT.

Littlebull75,

Mine has a light touch to make it shift with the buttons.

Gary 56,
Mine did the same thing but I was way way out on a mountain trail in WV. Luckily I figured out what it was on the spot. We had been going through some extremely rough terrain and something knocked the wire off underneath on the shift solenoid. It was an easy fix. Hope you figure it out.
Later, Andy

Thanks Andy, I am going out and look at that right now, see if that can be the problem. Gary 56
