Does anyone know how much trouble it is to put 250R plastic on a 300EX, or is it more trouble than it is worth?

 

I don't know about 250r plastic but, It is very simple to put 400ex plastic on a 250x/300ex. and for complete plastic plus complete seat for under $325.00 it is a good bargain.

Are you sure, you didn't get your bikes backwards? I know the 400EX plastics are easy to put on a 250R, but the 400EX is longer than the 250X/300Ex so I think it would be a pain in the **** to put them on a 250X/300EX.....

That is stock honda plastic. it does not include the headlight in that price though.
400ex plastic will easily go on a 250x/300ex
the main difference in size of the 2 machines is in the swingarm length. the plastic is almost identical in length.

Was it very expensive? When I priced it at my Honda shop it was unreal.
