Eli98 -

Where would you get new plastic (fender/seat piece)?
I bought a used one for $900 for my nephew over
Christmas his plastic is cracked, runs good, real peppy
it beats my Sportsman 450 on a take off, lol.

Also, we have experienced his front end locking
up, don't know if its the tire rods or not? you
can push it back, but its a little nerving know it
happened twice. Where can you get all these
aftermarkets/mods/replacement parts cheap
vs. ebay? While ebay is cool, its not like you can
find everything there, where are these Honda Sport
Quad sites that everyone goes to other than the
dealer and ebay? Please advise, and thanks for the help!

ive always liked the 250X better for some reason. i like the 300ex and the dealer said it was a bike length faster, but the 250x just seems peppier and crisper in handling.

anyway to find parts- try servicehonda, ronnies or hondaparts direct or western honda. they have good discounts on OEM parts. for afermarket stuff you may be better off with ebay.

Weisco gives the compression for using each of their pistons in the two different quads. Its not much of a difference, but there is a difference. And from what I've seen and been told its in the head chamber. The biggest difference is the tranny gears. The 300 gears are beefy-er and just won't fit into the 250 case. The 300 cases are just machined more in the right places, thats it. Both are the basicly the same and share most parts.

I had all my work done by powroll.. in Ohio they do good work.. cost me like 1200 bucks.... selling my engine now on ebay or if anyones interested here i will give them 1st dibbs.. I want 400 bucks for the entire engine... MX stage 1 port and polish , Proformance cam, New timing chain, New black diamond valves, 11 1/2:1 weisco piston, 78mm big bore kit,, Head studs and valve cover has been drilled out and retaped for better proformance, (holds everything together better) Polished side cases, new timing chain gear, Barnett race clutch, 14 tooth front sprocket,, I will let it go for 400 bucks,, just b/c the oil drain plug is stripped out and i have to make my own plug,, The timing chain in the engine isnt on it right now,, It jumped off when i was riding the other day,, might not have had the timing adjuster all the way in or something... I am about 90% sure it didnt bent the valves or do any damage when it jumped off,, if it did do anything all it would do iz bend the exhaust valves and those are 32 dollars a piece from Poweroll,,, but thats the good and bad, If anyone bought it i would take the side covers off my engine and clutch and head with piston and everything,, and have one beast of an engine by the weekend.. This engine will run with the 400's... Out ran several 400ex's.. So just PM me if you are interested thanks

Anyone drop a 300x engine in their 250x frame?
What do most of ya's do for performance gaining
on these Honda sport quads? Clutch kits, exhaust pipes,
air filters?
