Default 2006 rinny with hmf

I have a 2006 efi, and was wondering if just by putting on an aftermarkert pipe as a hmf utility and a k&n filter would this make this bike to lean and cause it to loose power. Did a plug chop and i didn't appear to be to lean. This thing has lost a lot of power it seams like low end and top end. Already had to put a new oil pump assembly in it cause it threw the chain. Could the dealership have done something wrong when installing the pump. Could a programmer like a powercomander help me out.

I'm amazed that a plug chop didn't show you were lean. It should be super lean. I rode with a guy who has an 06 with an HMF and that thing was backfiring all day. That pipe and air filter should have added a bunch of power. I would try a EFI controller and see if that wakes it up. If not the dealer may have screwed something up. Like maybe retarding the cam.
