I want to get a set of handlebars for my 400EX. I've been lookin at Renthals and FMF 909 bars. Which out of the 2 of these are better bars and what bend would be the best to buy????

I have the Renthals and I love them!

 

The 909's flex when jumping and all because they are suposed too. I have Renthal Charmichael bends and they are lower than stock and I love them.I would get maybe Pro Tapers or TAG metal T2, they will prolly never bend, If you get Renthals or 909's I would get a CR HIGH bend, A lower bend is better.

 

Can anyone else help me on this!!!!!!!!!

 

Would the CR high bend be too low for the 400EX?

 

Anyone? How about "quad" bend handlebars?

 

i have 250r renthals on my 300ex they feel realy better and are kinda hard to bend/

 

Renthals all the way man. I rolled my quad and the only part that wasnt bent or broken was my bars

 

Korn...FMF 909 BFB bars are just Pro Tapers with a Quad bend... I like mine but I am sure that the Renthal Fattys and Tag Metals T2 are the same... My buddy rides T2 and I cannot tell the difference... You will pay @ least $20 more on the FMF bars cause they come with the bar pad and FMF 909 Grips..(Which I would have to say are the best grips on the planet) plus the name..hehe Remember you will have to get a universal mount kit it you get Pro Tapers, FMF 909 BFB, Renthal Fatty's or Tag T2's cause of the fatter bar... the mount is like 50 bucks...

 

If you like the 400ex bend of the stock bars, then get Renthal bars with the 400ex bend.
