350X 300EX same mount ????????

Default 350X 300EX same mount ????????

Just wondering if the 350x and the 300ex motors had the same mounts or were inerchangable ?? have a 300ex frame want to put a 350x motor in it if there is no frame cutting involved. any info on this project would be apreciated not sure if this is even possible or worth the agrevation ???

Default 350X 300EX same mount ????????

There is one mount on the 250x engine that is too wide for the 300ex frame. It is only anch inch or 2 and can be trimmed off with a hack saw. I have never acctually done the job but have seen many installed. I had a frame and was going to do the swap, but the guy with the engine won the standoff. I sold him the frame and he has the cool little quad now. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Did you mean 350 x or 250x I hope you ment 350x ???????? thanks

I read somewhere...I think a spacer is required on one side of the 350x engine.....It pretty much falls right in place, I think...but don't quote me on that.....
