Hi Guys
I have a 1990 Honda 300 TRX.
It developed a rear brake sqeual last year, I fitted new shoes, cleaned out the drum etc which is in good condition but the squeal is still there.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums...The problem with the drum brakes is even if you get new shoes and adjust them accordingly the seals wear out and still will allow dirt and water etc to get into the drum...So most likely you are going to get it sealed up tightly so you won't be getting any water inside because it will rust up everything, so take it apart and clean everything up really good...Also make sure nothing is rubbing and causing any weird noises in the rear(I don't mean the brakes because my hub used to grind against the cover over the drum brakes and I had to fix it along with pretty much the same scenario as you are describing...Here is a microphice of a 1990 trx 300's rear drum...Hope this helps and any ?'s let me know.
