Default 300 ex racks

Anyone have a rear rack mounted on their EX? Has anyone gone totally redneck and made up a front rack for one? I have been looking at a 2005 or 2006 at a Honda dealer. It is brand new but has the old body work with the headlight on the handle bars. A rack to carry fishing or camping gear would make it a lot more useful. My thought for a front rack is something small, just to hold a tent and sleeping bag with the heavier stuff on back.

The 300 is a sweet little trail quad!

There are rear racks out there. They were popular back in the 90's. Would a 6-pack rack do???

This one has the old reverse on it. I would gladly pay an extra for a newer one that doesn't have that ridiculous mechanism on it!

A 6 pack rack might work but something a little bigger would be better. I have seen the older style reverse that had been converted to something easier. If I can get a discount on the price I could easily live with theshifter. A little reading turned up a bunch of complaints that the bike was too slow. I'm having a hard time with that, since it is 282 cc with 4 valve heads, and only a little heavier than the 250EX.

hello - did you ever find a rear rack for your 300ex? i'm considering buying a 250ex, but i really want a rack as i'll taking it into the mountains occasionally and don't want to wear a back pack. if i can't find a rack then i may have to buy a utility, but i really prefer a sport. thanks!
