01 400ex

The VIN number should be on the cross member on the front of the frame where the bumper mounts. It is stamped (engraved) in the metal. If it has been ground off, more than likely your quad has been stolen.

can it be seen from standing over it and looking down or should I put it on its back tires and stand it up to try to see it/???/ thanks for the replies
