Default New to Honda

Hi all,

Im New to honda and pretty new to ATV's themselves. Just graduated college and decided to buy myself a 400ex. It was brand new as of 2 days ago. Working the clutch took me a while to get used to , but I love this quad. maybe cause its new or maybe just because its awesome! Anyway. With all this money from graduation left over i was thinking about putting a pipe on it, What do you all suggest, I want it to be loud but not too expensive. Thankx!

LESS SOUND = MORE GROUND!

You will do yourself and everybody else a huge favor by staying as quiet and stealthy as possible! I suggest the FMF Q series.....

The stock 400ex pipe is not very restrictive. A pipe for a 400ex will probally only net about 2 hp. Pull off your spark arrestor punch a bigger hole in the baffel and use the money to have some one port your cylinder ,$250, cam,$180, valves and rockers, not sure how much its been awile, and you will be surprising all those 660 raptors out there when they really have to beat on thier machine to keep up!

Hey PiningAway462 congrats on the Diploma and the new Wheeler. If I were you and looking for a after market, cheap pipe I would go with the White Brothers mx-4. Check DennisKirk.com for it. My bro caught it on sale for a price that he could'nt pass up. Man it sounds great. It should also come with the jet that is required after you put a pipe on.
