Hi there! We're new to ATVs in general, we purchased an 85 Honda Fourtrax 250 and we can't find the stupid VIN number so we can register it. We've been all over the frame and can't seem to find it. Does anyone know the exact location so we can try again. Its really frustrating!

Also, any idea where we could buy new plastic pieces for it?

Last question, the front tires on it are smaller than the back. If we replaced the smaller ones with the same size as the back would it make the quad more stable? On inclines it seems to go on 3 wheels pretty easily.

Check Ebay for plastic, new after market fenders are available. The VIN is stamped in the flat frame cross member at the front just under the front fender. It is hard to read with the fenders on.
