Default eldelbrock carb?s

i was wondering what everyone thinks about the edlebrock carb for the 440 big bore

I had one years ago. Top end was furious, but it had a bog off the bottom that I just could not tune out. Bogged once on the takeoff of a big double jump....and I came up short! Took it off the next day!

Oh, and don't bother replying that I didn't know how to tune it correctly, because I live just a few miles from the Edelbrock factory (where they make the carb!), and I took it over there and their techs couldn't get it tuned either.....

is it a problem with all the edlebrock carbs or where you just unlucky with your carb

did you have a 440 bigbore or stock bore
