what do they want for a megabomb 350? that is a plain waste for a little header, i got my full rwr system for 500. my buddy had a 426 built to the hills, cam, ported head, oversized valves, carb, lightened flywheel, etc. and it would run with piped 450's

dont forget that it looks sick, and it quiets your quad down by about 1-2db and can add 3-5hp (claimed- probably on a 450)

but i would never ever pay 350 dollars for an ATV header. he would be better off spending that $350 on a new carb.

But after he's done everything else, and the only thing (without losing a lot of reliability) left to do is get the megabomb- why not?

The look of the megabomb is priceless

The first header I installed on my quad when it was a 400 was a powerbomb, It was okay but not really impressed (just a feeling didn't actually dyno). I believe the reason it reduces the db's is because of packing in the expanded section. I don't know much about the mega bomb except for Rocky Mountain only shows it for the 450r and cost is 314.99 with free shipping. I am a firm believer in the Curtis Sparks, but I believe it depends on where you want the power. I've always heard that smaller tubing gives lower end power and bigger tubing gives top end when it comes to headers and I believe the other factor on selecting header size is the displacement.

Most mechanics will tell you to buy a full race exhaust or buy a header pipe and matching silencer. I mixed the powerbomb with a WB silencer and this could have been why I wasn't impressed with the header.
