Default 86 Fourtrax Clutch Problem

I think my clutch is going out. When going done steep inclines, I downshift and the engine slows the machine down at first, then as the machine slows down it begins to coast down the hill faster like I have put it into neutral. I have to keep bumping the throttle to keep the enigine rpms high enough to keep the engine breaking some what working. I think maybe the cent. clutch is going out is going out. Any suggestions are greaty appreciated!

I forgot to mention that the clutch does not slip under heavy load like climbing steep incline in higher gears like 2nd and 3rd gears!

well sounds like you need to rebuild the tranny and put new rings on the front lobe oh dont forget to put that seal in or you could just give it away and buy a trx174
