Honda Starting

I have a 19986 Honda 250 Fourtrax. I bought the starter switch and when I put it in, everything went dead! Can anyone tell me where there may be a starter saftey swtich or something that may cause this problem?

Most likely you blew the fuse, due to a short. It should still push start however.

Thanks, I changed fuses. Now the lights come on at least! But still no starting...anymore ideas?
