Hello to all,

Brand new, first post. I'm in need of some help from those that know.

Some back ground info:

Bought a used 1992 Fourtrax 300. Great shape, but with one known problem. Seems the left handle kill switch was bad. Before we bought it with asked the old owner to replace the light/kill switch assembly. It costs him $110.00 and he did. Still had intermittion problem, sometimes it did it, sometimes not. He put it in the shop and they determined it was a bad spark plug.

Owner also replaced starter, new battery.

We bought it and at first it started fine everytime. Then it started having the problem.

It will pop but not start, turn key of kill switch off and then on and it pops again, eveytime, but no start. After messing around like that it did start. Well now after several days of trying it, no starting, will pop everytime. When I say pop, I mean just that, will not run and then die, but pop like it wants to try and start. If you then crank without turning off/on the key or kill switch it just cranks.

I have replaced the spark plug, and we have spark.

Any ideas muchly appreciated. Anyone have the same problem?

For the most part I have the same problem, not with my quad but with this site, they only know how to be sarcastic, or how to complain. I wish I could help you, there are only a few people on here that will help you but you may have to wait till the weekend, unless you keep on reposting on your thread then it will stay on top and maybe one of these people will see it and offer you advise.
