after looking on the net for 350x engine i found a forum were a guy was saleing a 350x crate engine (new).does anyone know were to get atv crate engines.

most dealers cant get complete engines, only parts

 

in 1987 when they outlawed atcs the remaining new bikes were parted out and somehow alot of highschool shop classes ended up with engines for educational purposes. our shop class got a couple of these. when these bikes were disassembled they cut cables and wires and usaully left the carbs with the motor. i see alot of them on ebay. prtty high. joe

 

im buying a new 350x engine off ebay later today.

 

i was looking on the net and found honda sale crate engines for all their new atvs, dirtbikes, and sportsbikes.their atc engines come as kit engines so you have to build it. schools mostly buy this but its about 1000$ less then having it completly built.the only engines you cant get are 2 strokes.
