I was wondering if i need a oversize tank for a 440 motor to run an hour and a half hare scrambles? If so do you need a extended steering shaft too. thanks

You do not need a different sterring shaft if you go with a new IMS gas tank. And, this was only a problem on there old tanks if you used a set of Pro-Taper bars. IMS changed there design about a year ago because the Pro-Tapers were rubbing the tank when you turned the to the right or left. The only problem that you might have is again with the Pro-Tapers and if you are going to mount Bark Busters. Some systems work and some will still hit the tank in turning, but I am not sure which one's rub. Any handlebars that have a cross bar will mount with the regular steering shaft with no problems.
