400ex gear skips

I have 400ex and i seems like around 4th gear my gear skips, doesn't do it all the time just sometimes. Do you think my gear is going bad?

Are you sure it isn't a slipping clutch? You sure it isn't your chain skipping on the sprockets?

i agree, i would imagine it'd be kinda hard to grind off fourth.
