Im looking to buy a 400 but i would like to know r they reliable or if if they have any problems or recalls

 

they are probably one of the most reliable quads on the market today...I do not know of any recalls or problems. Great starter quad for sure. Especially for trail riding.

 

Mine has been nothing but perfect.

 

There was a recall on the 05's reverse gear. One day I was riding and all of a sudden the reverse light came on and it made a loud clicking sound and got stuck in gear, just locked up. I called the dealership and they told me about the recall. I brought it in and they fixed it, something with a spring in the tranny. Other than that never had any problems.

 

I have an 00 that has seen thousands of hard a$$ desert miles. In all these years, other than the usual disposable items that have to be replaced like chains and sprockets, I have replaced the clutch cable and the rear bearings, and had a short in a headlight wire. (Some people would say that cables and bearings are disposable items anyway!)

Most dead solid reliable machine I have ever owned!

 

mines been nothin but perfect when it was a 400. its a 440 now and it still has been nothing but perfectt. great quadd...dead reliable.
