I don't think he got work on his engine, I think he got a new motor! Maybe the same one as the RC51 superbike by honda??? LOL ..... anywayz. I know what he's feeling . Acceleration is decieving (sp?).

 

i have an 86 4trx 250R it was a race quad it has a really little list of parts on it that are stock ct 310 lrd frame lone star swing arm and a arm's well i had a frined run along side me with his street bike my r does around 84 mph so how THE HELL!! can ANYONE have a 400ex do 130 mph did it still have the 400ex engine in the frame ? LOL!!! im sorry but we all know this kinda speed just can t be had by a 400ex there super sweet quads and all but its not happen sorry

I have a quad that will do 120 mph, yes it's true, a 1989 Banshee with a 96 YFZ 750 four cylinder, bigger carbs, K&N's, drag pipes, 130 horse power, 12 inch swingarm extension, it's like an orgasm on wheels.

 

it has to be a lie. even if the guy had the 800cc a 500 banshee should still be able to outrun it. i don't know how much the nitrous and super charger would add but i don't think so. as the guy refuses to answer our questions. i think he just saw him goin fast and he was like wow! that has to be like 130!

 

About 8 or so years ago there was a highly build Suzuki 500 with turbo and nitrous at the salt flats and its top speed was 125, so I highly doubt that a 400EX with motor work is going to get anywhere close to that... I would guess it is probably going aorund 80-85mph...

Any pics, video or a more precise list of the mods that are done to this 400, maikly a list of what was done to the engine???

 

For a 400ex to do 130 mph it would have to have some where around 60-70 bhp or more with alot of gearing and alot larger tires on the rear. I ride a CBR900rrr and have been clocked at 162mph by the gun and I know I would almost p!ss myself if a seen a little 400ex quad pulling up beside me at even 100mph. A FZR400 street bike only does 120 mph and it is alot more stream line and less drag then a 4 wheel quad.

not all 15 year olds are immature, i am 15 myself. i am taking a class through the mail on motorcycle repair, the one advertized in the mags. i havednt got below a 95% on any tests yet, so i kinda know what i am talking about in some of this stuff. no, a 400ex will not go 130, but i can see where you could think that if you where never on a very fast quad before. when i was younger i thought my trail boss 250 went 65mph. quads are very deciving. cut him a little slack. you never know he might have some proof! it sounds like a sweet quad. i agree, i think she went about 80-85. oh yeah, onefast453ex has more than a twist throttle and a missing airbox lid, he probably has one of the fastest 400ex's on the fourms. (that still has a 400ex motor and is not set up for drag racing) i think you should listen to the guys that know what makes the ex tick mudslinger. your giving us young ones a bad name!

 

You neglected to tell us which crotch rocket motor was in it!

 

Let's go steal that guy's quad and see for ourselves if it really does go 130mph.

 

im just turned 15 and me and my bros on a mowing buisness and have about 60 yards and i make around a grand and a half a month so i bought me a 00 400ex
