I can't help you with the Warn or other mounts. I do know that it was quite easy to mount a T1500 Superwinch to my Recon. I have it mounted up under the front rack and fenders to the two large frame pieces the run diagonally down to the steering rods. I used a 1/4 steel plate which the winch bolts to by two holes. I then used 4 large u-bolts to mount the plate to the frame. For the time being I am using a piece of 1/4 dimond plate mounted to the retangular opening on the front bumper below the headlights with a 1/2x3 inch opening as a crude fairlead. It works quite well, although I am going to mount a roller fairlead to the front instead of the diamond plate to increase the angles at which I can use the winch. The winch is worth its weight in gold to me and I would never get another quad without one. The only problems I have had with it is I often need to tie the Recon to a tree inorder to pull the Beartracker out of where it is stuck.
The Bear is a little heavier then the Recon so the Recon has a tendency to pull itself to the Bear instead of pulling the bear to it.
