01 foreman 450 oil pan?

Default 01 foreman 450 oil pan?

IS the oil pan on a 450 replacable? Does anyone know hte part number? My father's oil pan is stripped out at the drain plug.

Default 01 foreman 450 oil pan?

All I see is a left and right side crank case from this 2001 Foreman crank case parts.

Im sure you could just tap the drain hole out one size bigger, It just a bolt to hold in the oil after all.[img]i/expressions/beer.gif[/img]

There is no oil pan.
Your fix for the stripped threads is done with a helicoil and a rear axle carrier bolt from a TRX200.
I know that may sound crazy but Honda discovered that solution many years ago. You can get both from your local Honda dealer.

By the way, you cant go a size bigger and tap new threads. There is not enough material there. And even if you did manage to do it, you would like rip the case into when you tightened the bolt. A helicoil is the only proper fix for the long haul.
