Why would you want the loudest possible pipe? Loud pipes suck! They are so annoying!

Loud pipes sound great. Don't pull out your spark arrestor, sounds like crap without it. Get a DMC pipe and get a high compression piston---sweeeet. It kinda sounds like a built- up Harley. Any thing and everything i own will be loud.

I know its not the loudest but it is close the BIG GUN is the best pipe for the 400ex i have one myself. My friend has a full yoshimura pipe although it is expensive it dosen't have much power increase. I LOVE THE LOUD PIPES

Judging by the sound of you words.. you must be a teenager. If you are like I was, money is a factor. Cobra makes cheap(in price and quality) pipes, but they will ring your ears. I've heard a Cobra on a 300ex, and Warrior, and i loved it! If money isn't a factor, and you want to gain some performance also, I would recommend the Yoshimura RS-3 Titanium alloy pipe. This thing ROCKS! It sounds awesome, and produces the most power out there. It isn't cheap, but remember, you get what you pay for.

the myth that "loud pipes save lives" is just a phrase coined from harley riders.

what they are really saying is that:
1) you're an irresponsible rider & really don't care that it's disturbing other people.
2) you admit that having a loud pipe makes others aware of your presence....
but saying it saves lives also tells them you are placing your life in thier hands.

personally i like to take responibility for my own safety & learn how to ride safely... knowing the limits of my machine and well as what's going on in the environment around me at all times. having a bike that is too loud takes some of that away from you. not to mention, future hearing problems.

loud bikes are fau paus in any public riding area now.
