i have a 06 rubi and have the stock tires and wheels, what i am loking for is a set up that will widen the stance just a little, the stock set up there is a inch or 2 of fender overhanging the tire and i want to flush that up. so the edge of the fender is flush with the tire. can i do that with tires alone or do i need a offset whee??

spacers are the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to go

 

There are lots of aftermarket rims, and I think they all have a greater offset than stock. Take a look at ITP C-series........
