Default For Sale Price

My dad is going to sell his 1986 Honda 350 Foreman. He's taken care of it over the years, it's never been rolled or abused, and he does the typical maintenance for it. Is $1000 a reasonable price to sell it, even though it is 20 years old. The only thing wrong at the moment is the tires are pretty worn, and the battery is dead so he just kick starts it. I appreciate any feedback.

Nada website list 705.00 for average retail. 1000.00 doesnt sound to bad but without tires and it not starting you might get alot of haggling. I would definitley get a new battery for it. That is one less thing to explain to a potential buyer.

Where in pa you from? I give 750.00 for it, LOL.

Get ready to listen to all that.
