Default 2006 Rubicon Idle problem???

Hello-I'm new to the site and new to owning a 2006 Rubicon. This is a brand new machine with .3 miles on it. For some reason when it is in auto, when I come to a stop it stalls out. It seems as if the idle is too low, shouldn't this have been taken care of in the dealer prep before it was delivered? Or is this normal, I have never had an auto before. Or can I simply increase the idle. If so how?

Thanks,

Endmile

I believe that machine should idle at either 1200 or 1400 RPM, not sure how to tell you to get that without your having a tachometer.

I've had my rubicon for over a year and drive the hell out of it have never had any problem with it idling. I would take it in if it is new, that should be there problem.

Thanks for the advice!!! Is it pretty easy to increase the idle. I should probably just take it in seeing I have only had it for 2 days.

the idle adjustment is on the right side, remove the seat and the right panel and its a **** on the side of the carb. turn it up some just make sure it doesnt creep in gear or lurch when you shift
