imo, i was disappointed once again this year. for one i want a 4x4 with a locker and irs. not a rincon, something a little different. as far as the 700, i would rather of seen a sra model, reguardless of weight. and im a die-hard honda fan too!!!!!!

The thing I don't get about the 700 is that (at least where I ride), if I need 10" of ground clearance, I am going to also need 4wd.....2wd, IRS or not, isn't exactly the hot ticket for rock crawling! And, flying down a desert wash, the extra 150 pounds of weight and sloppier handling of IRS don't make a bit of sense either.

We have all seem the pictures of those eastern woods races where the course is so rutted that the grooves are easily 10" deep. This is about the only place where I can see this machine will excell. Everywhere else, it's going to be a 500+ pound fish out of water.

yea the front plastics look horrible but remove the black pieces and it might look fine like cut fenders(racing fenders) and even though it may weigh a bit, its got a fuel injected 686 and independent rear suspension cant beat that!and if its too tall just go aftermarket, lowering kits have been around for a long time and nothing an elka suspension cant handle.
by the way it is in production.

I agree with you on everything except the "IRS can't beat that". That would suck in most riding conditions. Honda definitely needs to re-think this thing to compete with the Raptor because it is not going to get the job done in it's current state. Can you say Honda 700 motor in a slightly modified TRX450 frame. That would rule.
