Good old 300 4x4
#1
Have a 1999 honda 300 4x4 have put 25 and 24 inch vampires on it and it will climp trees almost. But it still rides like log wagon. Has anyone used progressive suspension brand shocks before and will they help what seems like 2 inches of travel on old red? Also will the k&n power kit help give it a little better horse for the extra inch of tires. Thanks for any help.

I'm just the person your lookin for. I've got a 99 300 4x4 and i love it. I've got 26 and 25 inch vampires on mine though. The KandN Power kit wont be enough i think. I installed a highlifter lift kit, and monster performance kit on mine. The mud where i ride is so thick that before my mods, my tires would not even turn at all in the goop. But now thanks to high lifter, i can hang with anything stock out there, and i can go anywhere a sportsman 500 with 26in mudrunners on it can go. About the suspension, i'm not sure, but email jeff at highlifter and he would know.
