I am wanting to buy a new 450R. There are still some 2006 and 2007 models available. Does anyone know what changes were made from 2006 to 2007 and then from 2007 to 2008? I know the 2008 has new graphics, what other changes are there?

04/05 are the same. Then there were some major changes for the 06/07/08, which I think are all identical (except for colors, graphics, etc.).

I'm hopeing for FI in 09!

 

When I compare the specifications for the '07 and '08 models they are a little different. The '08 length is longer, the wheelbase is a bit longer and the height is .2" higher. This is why I am wondering what they have changed from '07 to '08. Were there some improvements? I too wish the improvement were EFI.

 

Didn't they mess with the plastic??? That could easily account for a little difference in length.
