i took my 4wheeler down the road last night, turned around and was heading back and all i smelled was gas fumes. i put a stage 2 jet kit in it a few weeks ago but never got around to really ride it. i tried to turn the fuel screw in a little bit but it just dies. it has a white brothers e series muffler, aftermarket air filter, and air lid removed. what can i do to get the air/fuel mixture right?

We get so many of these posts from folks who thought they could just buy a jet kit and throw it in and everything is going to be just perfect.....
You start out with to big a main (rich), then go down in size until it runs bad (lean). Then you go back up a couple sizes to insure that it will never run lean (lean will toast your engine!).
This assumes you have the needle in the right place and the idle jet is right as well.

it does run good but its rich. i have the e clip on the 3rd groove of the needle. if i put a smaller jet in it should i move the needle?
