Default 250 trx

I have a couple of 92 350 trx's; is there a 4x4 250 trx. Have a 11 year old girl which I think the 350 is too big for her at the moment and if there was 4x4 250 trx I would think about that for her or would it still too much machine. Thanks Cam

the 250s are between a 35 and 40 mph machine. I rode one for fun messing around
and the only way to get them to do a wheelie is sit on the back and pop the clutch.
If she has any kind of riding experience she will love that quad until shes about 16
so i think its great.

i have an 11 yr old son and he has a 350 rancher and he seems to handle it just fine . and i have a 06 250ex with some aftermarket mods and it will run 55+ and will pull front wheels up very easily and will outdo most 4wheel drives in the mud, i am 38 and 200+pounds its not the fastest but it can make plenty low to mid range power i would recomend that bike to any one

55+ u say your 250ex does? Not trying to sound like an *** but you must have
a lot of aftermarket parts done to it beacuse im 20 and 155 lbs and yes if i sit on
the back of the steat, pull back and floor it sure it lifts the wheels but I know that
only a few aftermarket parts on a 250ex will not make it 55+. 400ex go around
65 or so...

yea i have biggun cdi, amr monster coil, kn filter, hmf full exhaust, jet kit. my sons 350 rancher will run 54 on speedo and at top end my 25o slowly pulls away. i can sit on the tank and get off the cluch in 2nd gear and ride rear wheels allday.
i love my lil 250, not super fast due to gearing but fun as hell to trail and mud ride on.

So, which numbers would signify a 250 TRX "4x4"? - would prefer an earlier one, mid to late 80's, money is always a consideration. I have come across some on ebay- but seem to be 2x4's. Speed and wheelies are the last thing we are interested in for her at this time. She looked at the trx 350's and thought she wanted something smaller, but has outgrown her 2x4 80cc Suzuki. Thanks Cam

well i have an 03 trx250ex {sport model} and i have fmf mega max without a performance header and a jet kit k&n air filter and uni airbox vents and id say mine runs somewhere in the 50`s cuz i topped mine out on a dirt road and wheelies are soo easy and i can stand up and in 2nd gear i can pull a wheelie without even struggling so in my opinion its a great starter and put some parts on it and its good till about 20.

the smallest 4x4 honda makes is a 300, which i think is too much for any 11 year old. if i were you i would try to find an old honda 110 or some thing of that nature. she will be able to go any were she want and it should be easy to find one under a 1000.00$$$. my son is 7 and the 70 frame and 110 motor is plenty for him and its an auto.
