im doing a 350x converion i still need a few things but their nothing that will keep it from starting. im thinking that because i bought a used cdi that it could be bad . i checked the connection i get contact at the two prongs to the right the bottom one in the middle and the two on the right. my test the light was barley on and it didnt beep.

 

i thought i didnt need a volt regulater but i check out a manual for it online and the volt reg connects to the cdi giving it power to send a signal to the coil.
