What correction-Who's talking about a Mustang GT?

 

sorry i worded that wrong...not a correction just a little add on to your statement...a mustang will flat out smoke a civic and a new supercharged "overweight" lightning will flat out smoke a mustang

 

You talking about the 4.6l or 5.0?Also I doubt that it could hold a stick to a friend of mines 90' Mustang 5.0, hes got Flow Master, and 3:11 gears...

 

i had a '91 Gt with flowmasters..dynojet headers...24lb injectors...and i got beat BAD!!! you gotta understand those new lightnings are super fast!!I have been with a guy in a 96 cobra on a drag strip and he just barly beat it by lik 2 10ths of a sec

Well Bill, Your right the 300EX is faster than the Xplorers. I've owned an Xplorer. I now own a Rubicon The Ruby is faster. Not that I'm into drag racing but I would be certainly happy to oblige you in a race. Too bad the distance thing just doesn't accommodate it.

 

Well if you liked that one here is another "little add on" it isnt only a mustang forum it is a lightning forum ;p lighten up a little bit most forums are just like conversations...when you are having a conversation with someone do you stay on the same subject and when that subject is through you just stop talking? It hasnt turned into a brag fest..i was just pointing out a lightning is a fast truck! you brought it up anyway did you not? I hate to be an a-hole about it but i see more and more posts on here with people who think they run this message board giving their 2 cents worth. If atvbbs didnt want me talking about a mustamg he would have edited it. Also "Please refrain" from acting like my mother and telling me what i can and cant talk about! I am old enough to think for myself thanks.

 

I think you need yo read your post again ADRENALINJUNKIE. You were "bragging" about the performance of some drag racing crap. You are right, these are like conversations, but this forum is a conversation about ATV's. Also more specifically, this TOPIC was about a speed comparision between a 300ex and a Rubicon. I used my point about the Lightning and Civic to illustrate that light weight does not necessarily determine the victor in the 2 ATV's. You did make a point about the Sportsman 500 and your 300, but then it turned to my mustang smokes this, and my buddy has a 10,000 hp festiva. That is my $.02 and it's a free country so post whatever you like.

hey dude i never once said my mustang smoked crap actually i said it got beat by a truck...then some other guy asked me if it was a 5.0 or 4.6...i like lightnings so what i think they are sharp trucks i thought i would say that they are faster than most sport cars....damn people is everyone that writes in this forum mental and just looking for something to moan and groan about? you guys just cant let a forum go wherever it goes..look at all the ones "400ex...good quad?" they end up being mine can beat yours. also why are you complaining what the topic is? you didnt even post it?
